The Party for Socialism and Liberation is a revolutionary working-class party. We believe the only solution to the deepening crisis of capitalism is socialism — a society where political and economic power belongs to the working class and the oppressed and where the basic needs of the people and the planet are planned for and guaranteed.
In Chicago, we organize alongside workers, students and oppressed communities — in the streets, our workplaces, and our neighborhoods — to fight for housing, healthcare, jobs, and justice for all working and oppressed people.
Building People's Power in Every Neighborhood
The PSL doesn't just show up at election time. Our members organize year-round alongside workers, tenants, students, and oppressed communities, because real change has always been won by the masses of people.

Robust internal political education is built into our meetings and membership requirements. We take our internal study and use it to organize public classes, study groups, book clubs, and forums.

We build longer term campaigns in addition to our shorter term mobilizing efforts and educational events. We want to bring new people into the movement and help them stay involved.

We analyze what is happening in our community and the world and we try to explain it to our class using tools like social media and in person: at school board meetings, door-knocking, & rallies.

We are regular working people with differing strengths and weaknesses. Through training and practice, we work to develop organizing skills like creating graphics, writing speeches, & winning workers to our message through outreach.
